Resident of West Allis, Passed to Eternal Life, Thursday, February 22, 2018 age 78 years. Beloved husband for 55 years of Mary Cay Freiberg (nee Lesatz). Loving father of Therese Freiberg. Dear brother of Richard (Kerry) Freiberg. Loved by his therapy cat, Cheetah. Also survived by other cherished relatives and many dear friends. Visitation Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (8500 W. Coldspring Rd.) 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Entombment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Longtime Kearney and Trecker employee, later enjoyed working in sales for Waukesha Industrial Supply. Member of Slovenian Union of America – Branch 43 (SUA), Knights of Columbus Council #3095, Knights of Columbus – KC Tootsie Roll Event. Ray was an Adult Acolyte, Eucharistic Minister, and Parish Money Counter. Ray was also a volunteer at the Holy Name Society of the Holy Assumption Parish. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society, School Sisters of Notre Dame or St. John the Evangelist Parish School appreciated.
