Obituary for Richard J. Schmid Sr.

Passed to Eternal Life Monday, October 1, 2018. Age 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Clarice (nee Eggert). Loving father of Jacqui (Dr. Thomas) Snyder, Richard (Lynn) Schmid, Wayne (Cheryl) Schmid, David (Carol)Schmid, Nancy (David) Grittner and Diane Kaltenbrun. Dear brother-in-law of Darlene Eggert. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 & 1/2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home – West Allis 12 PM until time of Masonic Service at 2 PM. Retired employee of American Appraisal. Member of West Allis Masonic Lodge #291, Tripoli Shrine, Scottish Rite Valley of Milwaukee and Whitnall Park Shrine Club and Sojourners. Proud WWII Army Veteran 75th Division and Veteran of the Battle of the Bulge. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Scimitar Foundation appreciated.
